The Saints are famous for their fan-friendly atmosphere and crazy inter-inning shenanigans. Throughout the game they have four or five roaming 'patron saints' that interact with the fans. The Patron Saint of Diet Soda was my favorite. This night happened to be 'Cow Appreciation Night' and they were giving away $1000.00 after the game to the lucky fan that had a cow take a 'number 2' in their desigated part of the field. Pretty funny stuff.
We've been to quite a few ballgames these last few years, and I'd rank Midway Stadium as one of the best times we've had at a park. Everything is focused on the fan. They're constantly pulling out all the stops- from the hot tub in left field, to the giant velcro wall in right. If you're anywhere near the Twin Cities, hit St. Paul first, then cross the river and see their big brothers. How can you go wrong with a team whose motto is 'fun is good'?
