Steph and I had a five hour layover in Philadelphia so we cabbed it over to the new Citizens Bank Park from the
airport. We were finally on our way home after over four years on the road so we were feeling a little nostalgic.
We grabbed a couple Yuengling beers, ordered up a cheesesteak, and waded out into the bleachers to shag BP balls. I
managed to get one that took a lucky bounce in my direction. Didn't spill a drop.
Citizens Bank Park is infinitely better than the old Vet. They've got an Irish Pub, a couple restaurants, and plenty
of open strolling space. If it was closer to downtown, it'd be close to perfect. They did it right.
Here's a life-lesson for you: if you are ever asked the question, "with whiz or without?", always opt for the whiz.
Always opt for the whiz.
